We get so many questions from new users asking how to use the ‘Dynamic Visibility’ feature in Xcelsius 4.5 & 2008 that we created a short video tutorial!
Before you Press ‘Play’ lets define Dynamic Visibility in Xcelsius: The ability to choose when a specific component is shown on the screen.
The most common method is to use one of the Xcelsius selector components such as the combo box, list view, or toggle button to allow the user to select what he/she wants to see on the dashboard at a given time. There are a few ways to accomplish this, but our tutorial covers the basics. Enjoy!

I am struggling learning how to do dynamic visibility… googled it… found your video… within 5 min solved my problem…. this is really helpfull… thanks for sharing

Very simple but effective. It can be used for many purposes, mine today is to allow drill down within the same chart, because I cannot add one more component to show separately drill down figures. Well done!

I was wondering if you had anything on doing multiple selction dynamic visibility. Say I have a label based menu that had label 1, label 2, and label 3 in it. I have another label based menu that has 2 labels, 2010 and 2009.
The label menu that has label 1, 2, and 3 puts a number in A1, and the 2010, 2009 menu puts info in cell b1.
I have a formula in C1 that says =if((and(A1=1,b1=1),1,2)). It works fine in giving me the numbers I need, but it seems like the charts dont read it very well.
