I discovered about 10 bugs within the first 5 minutes of installing SP2. My advice would be that unless you need the functionality provided in the SAP menu you stay away from SP2.
I just noticed that SP2 FP1 is out now.
Yes it is, but we will not announce until SAP put out the fix notes which is scheduled for 10/16 as of right now. Someone seemed to have pushed the release button prematurely!

Just installed sp2 . I am having difficuly with some long tme visualizations – crashing when generating preview, and when you try to reopen xlf , I get error – “failed to set localized string” anyone experiencing anything similar? would fix pack one fix?
I Installed Xcelsius SP2 but all entries in the SAP Menu are inactive, do you know why is this?
I have all the requirements on the client and server:
- BI AddOn 7.X (based on 7.10), Support Package 10, Patch 1
- Xcelsius SP2
-SAP GUI 710 Patch-Level 15
-Enhancement pack 1, SP5 Java and Abap.

The SAP menu will only work with Xcelsius 2008 Enterprise. Please confirm that this is what you are using.

Are yoiu able to download SP2? I just downloaded it from SAP site and tried to install it. It says welcome to XIR3 setup and then aborts..Please help!!

We have not heard of this error before. I would advise posting it in the SAP forum to get help from someone on the product development team. Did you try to download SP3?
